That Rubio running around Iowa for a month talking non stop about his “Christan faith” while carefully avoid talking about being Catholic will fool about 25% of Iowans into ignoring his political record??

You have to understand the deep hatred many voters have for Trump. They will not vote for that blowhard under any circumstances. So, when everyone piles on Cruz, these people are looking for the next best place to go. That’s Rubio.
There are a lot of moderate Republicans out there. Hard to believe if you only hang out here, but there are. My dad, now deceased was one. They dislike anyone who wears their religion on their sleeve. Trump's braggadocio is unbecoming to old-school conservatives. Pretty sure Dad would have been a Rubio supporter if he were still alive. For sure he would not be amused by Donald Trump, and I think he would find Cruz divisive.
