Tried to identify the remains using dental records. But if they don't know who he was, HTF do they know who his dentist was? Thanks nickcarraway.

The state forensic odontologist mentioned also happens to be my dentist. Good guy, with lots of interesting stories.

In 1975, when they didn’t have any idea who he was, they sent the victim’s dental charts out to two dentists’ organizations. In 2010, a woman asked about a missing person by name, whereupon they checked the dental records of that person. It’s all in the story.
