Trump wasn’t a bad guess even back then.

He is coming at the race from a different premise than most other politicians.

People like the odd ball factor. They find it a refreshing change. I would not at all be surprised to see Trump mopping the floor with all rivals and ending up in the Oval Office.

There’s an anecdote about a legendary big fish that is often found in the creeks. Nobody catches him, because he knows that the bait used on fly lures, if chased, would soon whittle him down to half his size. But sometimes he is missing and that is because some kid took a hook big enough to catch Moby Dick and put half a pound of bacon on it. Now the bait is his size, and he goes for it.

Well the electorate is kind of like that fish, and Trump is like that big hook and bait.

One can see my posting history and see I was 100% Cruz.

When Trump announced, I gave him a listen, and more and more listen, and I begin to see the but if trump merits of having him as the representative of this country to the world, while Cruz just did not light my fire.

I do wish Cruz well, and would vote for him in a heartbeat if he takes the nomination, will gladly pay up on my bet, as it would be worth it win or lose.

However, as long as trump is in it, I will support his attempt.

The RNC NEEDS this, to cut them down to size, and help the PTB realize that they cannot simply shove crap our way and tell us to like it, like they have been doing for 30 years.

I believe that may be one of Cruz' problems, he is seen as an insider, a member of the republican party.

I realize this is speculation on my part, but it is what it is.
