Waaaah! Your version of “Conservative” sounds very rigid.


You have a point. I don’t agree with Boehner’s actions. I don’t accept a party that holds the majority and the “purse strings” while ceaselessly capitulating to the political opposition.

I want representation that goes into office and keeps the promises they made that won my support.

If you like being played that’s your own problem.

Well, the worst mistake in a disappointment situation is to just stiffen up.

Flexibility can help, in the sense that it helps the ability to recover from error. Error is inevitable; defeat is never inevitable.

Oriental martial arts experts know this. The first judo move is to learn how to fall without hurting yourself (too badly). Christianity posits something even broader: a “trials and victory” paradigm.
