The last time I did this, for cars from the 50's, there were some awesome pics put up. Let's see if we can do the same thing for the 40's.

My choice for “car of the years” ....
But, has anybody notice that, in the movie Patton, in every shot that featured a jeep driving front and center, that jeep gets blown up, flipped over, or shot up?

Did Graham merge with Nash to create the Graham Nash? yeah, but it a few years later. The factory was in the south, in central Florida.
The bent ones came out as came out as Mashed Graham Crackers

At least you get the rare chance to see them. Any of the pre-war V-12s in his collection?

Dodge truck has not been driven in a while but add new oil and gas and she will crank right up. Adding new tires would not help as I suspect it would not move.....

Always a favorite of mine, the stepdown Hudson....

Ok, I give up. How DID they change the rear tire?

Most of them have small removable fender skirts, but it still isn’t easy.

I know. I just couldn’t see one on that particular model. Might be the angle of the photo.

It proves the adage, RAC....the lead dog gets the best view, but also makes the best target.
