There were also reports of an altercation at Maidstone service station just before 11am, where coaches carrying pro-immigration protesters en route to Dover came under attack.
Witnesses described seeing a swastika daubed in blood on the side of a coach, while coach another had its front window smashed reportedly by the hard-right groups.
Anindya Bhattacharyya, 44, from Whitechapel in east London, who was travelling with the anti-fascist group, said he was away from the coaches and inside the service station when violence erupted.
âThe service station staff bolted the doors and through the windows we could see a large group of fascists,â he told The Guardian. âThey were wearing Combat 18 T-shirts and one had an Enoch Powell T-shirt.
And this is just the news we actually hear.
