But the stars are inaccessible, always will be so if you know anything about physics, and what technological break thru will studying balls of spinning plasma light years from earth yield?

We assume that you must know all there is to know about how the universe operates and therefore everything that is not known today will not be known tomorrow?
We have to assume you have delved deeply into the reasons why Oliver Heaviside discarded 196 field equations put forth by James Clark Maxwell, choosing only 4 which he changed into vector equations and from which EVERYTHING we know about the entire electromagnetic spectrum comes from. Einstein said that without Maxwell he would never have been able to do what he did.
And from that research into the discarded 196 field equations you have concluded that, like Heaviside, they are abominations and that is the end of it and that there is absolutely no other way to go from one place to another other than what is already known and for which there is consensus?

It may be impossible with today’s technology, but who knows in the future, FTL travel is theoretically possible.
Besides, I think there is ample evidence that we have already had visitors from other planets. So, it must be possible, if its already happened
