I’d be devastated. I’d be more devastated if he won the nomination. It would be like a death to me. It would mark the end of my decades of participation in conservative politics.
If the Republican voters want to go scorched earth, I’ll give them scorched earth. I’ll take my own parting shot as I leave the political arena by casting my first vote for a Democrat. Then I’ll shake the dust off my feet and move along. And if Trump should win the presidency, I’ll never pass up the opportunity to say, “I told you so” when the true Donald J. Trump begins to rule over his subjects and they realize what they’ve done.
Mark my word. Trump supporters will rue the day he entered the political arena and they got sucked into his whirlwind.
