THAT is what truly baffles me, do these smart, savvy conservatives who support Trump, truly believe he will act in a conservative way once he’s elected? I guess they must. But on what they base that certainty, I have no idea.
PS. I have no idea who Chris Pratt is : )
I know you can’t speak for the evangelical wing, Vast, but I will ask you anyway. How can evangelicals support Trump? Jerry Falwell Jr, after that embarrassing TWO CORINTHIANS flub at Liberty, came out for him? is it because they think he’s the only one who can win? Yes, he says the right things on immigration, etc. but he says them in such a way that you can tell he is only saying them bc he knows there’s popular support for those things, not because he really believes in them. He stepped foot in a holiday inn express for the first time in his life, in IA, and he went to church, probably not the first time, but doubt it’s a frequent occurrence.
$$$$$
I agree that the press release was over-the-top. They had the high ground before that.
laura is taking this stand for $?
Trump told O’Reilly last night that he goes to church all the time. Well, denied that his church-going last weekend was rare or unprecedented.
You have to figure all the high profile people supporting him are on the take. It’s the only explanation that makes any sense.
If not explicit now, it is implicit in promises in a future Trump administration.
It would not surprise me at all if we end up with Biden as president. Given a Trump/Sanders alternative, who could deny Biden would sound reasonable?
who’s gonna prove him wrong? any Christian worth his salt can tell by listening to him that he is not a serious believer. He doesn’t speak the LINGO. Moreover, saying he has not asked God for forgiveness is prima facie proof he’s not. So yeah, they’re not voting for FIRST PREACHER etc, they must be voting for him because they think he is the only one who can beat Hillary. But say he wins. NO guarantee that he will implement anything more conservative than she would, because he is NOT principled.
scary. but true.
The only Christian in the world who has never seen any need to ask for forgiveness of sin.
He does not understand the first thing about God’s relationship to man, that’s what that statement demonstrates.
Much ado about nothing, I suspect. I don’t think someone changes his mind because of a grown child of someone you’re sleeping with.
When you have to suspect undue infulence is when someone acts outside of character. Levin supporting Cruz over Trump is completely consistent with his previous thoughts, writings, etc.
no, I agree, I was mostly just reacting to the news that he must have gotten divorced, because I read Marly and Me and he and his wife were together at that point.
I know nothing about his personal life. God bless any woman who wants to put up with that voice every day. LOL
He’s a “winner.”
Today.
seeing Freepers heaping praise on him, when he has been pretty soundly maligned on FR, is more reason to think people have lost their minds.
