For that very reason, somebody has created and maintained for years, a live Abe Vigoda status page. I look in on it every now and again. It says he’s dead.

no, it’s finally real. Rest in Peace Mr. Vigoda. His wife said he was never sick his entire life, died peacefully in his sleep of old age.
