I’ve had Kindle for only a couple of weeks and love it. Should have done it long ago. I decided to read Art of the Deal and had it at home in hand moments later. Incredible.

My wife and I got it four or five years ago, I was skeptical at first, but now we can both read the same book if we want and most older books are cheaper than the paperbacks. If you ever want to read classics (Shakespeare, Mark Twain, etc.) you can get them for free.

I’ve just started using Kindle on my Droid and love it. Beats lugging heavy study guides around.

I don’t know how much you read but I have Kindle unlimited and it is working out real well for me. $10 bucks a month and you can read as much as you like.
