There are fossilized dinosaur prints in strata excavated near Glen Rose, TX; there are no fossilized human footprints there. During the Great Depression, some enterprising folks nearby took advantage of myth of the â€œgiant humanâ€ footprints (they are of three-toed dinosaurs) and carved fakes for sale to rube tourists.
