Media personality Glenn Beck administered a mock presidential "oath of office" to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) as he endorsed him on stage—and Cruz got the oath wrong when he took it.
"What is the oath of office that you have to take?" Beck asked Cruz after the Texas Senator joined him on stage after Beck's more-than-half-hour-long speech endorsing Cruz.
"What-what?" Cruz replied.
"Dear God, if you don't know this, everything else-" Beck joked. "When you raise your right hand, what are you going to say?"
"I pledge to honor and defend the Constitution of the United States of America," Cruz replied.
Technically speaking, that's not the oath of office for the president of the United States.

That’s right. Cruz has already got a thorny issue to deal with in his NBC status and he gets a Canadian born talk show loon like Beck, who in turn gives him a very awkward presidential oath of office as part of his endorsement. Ted needs to either fire or take to the woodshed some of his aides for letting this crap happen.
He sounds super-coherent compared to Palin.
She really sounds not-well and desperate for attention.
She used to sound at least funny. Some of her one liners were cute years ago.
Now she sounds whiny and rambling.
She threw in ‘We the people...’ to the rambling to sound ‘founder’ like.
I have no idea. We are not welcome on those threads. LOL

How many opposition ads could one make from that single appearance?
- Oath of Office (you show that whole thing without commentary)
- First Hispanic President (no, Canadian citizen until 2014, eh?)
- "Waterloo", and yes you have to have ABBA as the soundtrack.

Remember how he acted during the Stop Iran rally and afterwards? Beck despises the Tea Party. Calls them racist. He can kiss my @ss.
I hope Beck gave Ted the secret decoder ring.

did Beck also award Cruz an honorary pair of magic panties?
An already crazy Political Season just got worse.
I have never seen a presidential candidate do this.
Glenn Beck came off his wheels sometime back and now this.
I can only ask why Cruz would even do this.
My guess is that Trump will have a field day.
Alas, TBBT got zotted by the big guy himself today.

My mistake on Beck being Canadian. I just wish Cruz had gotten a radio endorsement and not let this clown get within a thousand miles of his campaign.

Yes, and Beck makes out like he inhabitants the default position of wisdom, righteousness, and all the other virtues known and unknown.

Why is cruz not seeing anything wrong when he looks at beck?
Are those the ones by Duluth Trading that has the extra room?
