“This goes around every election. If not principled voters, then those running for office take your vote for granted.”

In the 90’s, I recall paper mills closing down. Ownership told their union workers if they went on strike for more money, they would be forced to shut down. The workers voted to strike and the companies went out of business.

We might be at that point right now without the luxury of taking a principled stand.
