Nah...My votes went to McCain and Romney...I was not voting FOR them, because neither was a good choice, but it damned sure was a vote AGAINST Obama.
Vote yes on Proposition DEF, which means voting in favor of expanding TV broadcast's on-air spectrum (just hypothetical), and you will NOT be voting "against" proposition ABC. The only way to vote "against" ABC is to vote FOR saying no; the only way to vote "against" DEF is to vote FOR saying no.
There was ZERO place on the ballot for saying "no" to either Obama OR Romney in 2012. There was ONLY a place to say "yes" to something else. GET IT THROUGH YOUR HEAD!! For the love of God!!!!

Your vote in '08, like mine, was a vote FOR McCain no matter how much we emotionally intended it to be "against" Obama. Your vote for Romney in '12 was a vote FOR Romney. My vote for a 3rd party candidate I knew would lose, was a vote FOR conservatism and what my vote achieved was to reduce the vote counts of both major candidates and reduce the popular mandate of whichever leftist won. That is what I voted FOR -- to weaken whichever leftist won.
Others, who voted for Romney "against" Obama, voted FOR turning the Republican party left. If you say you voted "against," all it means is that you don't want to be accountable for what you voted for.
