“I donât like or trust Trump. However, I will vote for him if he is nominated just to keep any of the Democrats from getting into the WH.”
Ditto here. ANY GOPer would be preferable to any of that walking slime with a (D) after its name.
Take that anyway you wish, just take it as a fact.
I just had that argument with a guy. If an evangelical Christian isn’t the candidate he won’t vote.
I said I’d prefer an evangelical but the time for all out campaigning is during the primary. For the general, you pick the best man out of the choice of two.
I also reminded him that carter campaigned as a Christian. Didn’t work out too well.
That’s probably where I’ll eventually come down on my vote. No matter how horrendously bad Trump could be if he’s as bad as I think he could be, Hillary or Sanders would be even worse. I like a lot of what Trump says, just don’t trust him. Even so, if he turns out to be %100 scam artist, I’d still expect him to be better than Hillary or Sanders.
Well, I think we will know by mid April what our Choices will be, so no need to panic yet. LOL
You have to admit, this Election Season is one for the books. I hope FR can survive the Cruz / Trump Supporter chasm that seems to grow wider every day.
We all have to remember who the real enemy is, the DemoncRat Party and the Sycophant Media, both News and Entertainment.
Can I have a beer, please.
With that said...he’ll get Bernie.
Voting sucks. I hate it with a passion. It makes you complicit. It’s a well gnawed bone thrown to the masses to get us to buy in to the oligarchs yoke. And people will accept just about any horrors so long as they get some insignificant say in who implements them. Voting is a sham, a shell game, a waste of time, a consumer of resources, and inefficient.
Voting also causes stupidity, irritable bowels, depression, ED, loose morals, explosive flatulence, and scurvy.
That said, about once every generation we get a national election where the results are not completely preordained and where it might actually make sense to show up. Every now and then the political class effs it up so royally that they have little choice but to let us actually have a voice. Not because they love us or care about us. But because even they don’t have a clue as to how to keep their own gravy train running.
The last election that mattered worth a damn was held in 1980. And I’m more than a little sad to say that this year might be another one.
So once again I’ll trudge to the polls, cursing myself a fool all the while, and cast a ballot in the damnable primary. We’ll see how it goes between now and November as to whether I’ll show again.
I sure as hell hope not.
It always applies.
Amen to that!
I’ll take Hillary over Trump - at least she is not palling around with Putin. Otherwise, there is no difference.
But if it is Bernie vs Trump - that’s a tough one!
Most scotus justices were picked by gop presidents, and yet infanticide is still the law of the land.
So nine unelected political hacks in black muumuus hold an entire country of 330 million under their thumbs and we’re supposed to get enthused about who the next one is going to be?
Oh goody.
“realize the Establishment hates your guts and this country.”

Depends if you consider Arizona to be Blue, Onyx. Thanks to being californicated by lesser evil unprincipled cowards and illegals allowed across the border by lesser evil unprincipled cowards, both types refusing to stridently do jack squat but talk and complain about principled conservatives, we may well be blue.
They nonvoters are usually the smart ones. They stay home, and we fools take the time out of our day to bless the greater evil, and the oligarchs continue on their merry way with nary a care in the world.
Thank you Jim first sign of sanity around here in awhile!!!!
I’m a Cruz guy, but could vote for Trump. Unlike Romney, McCain and Dole, I wouldn’t have to plug my nose when I did it.
“I split my time 50-50 now. Half to attacking Trump for not being a Constitutionalist and half to defending Trump as a far superior option to Clinton and Sanders.”
You might need more time.
