Today's big puzzle is how so many otherwise rational people have become enamored of Donald Trump Perhaps because we're tired of getting screwed over by career politicians who will say anything to get elected, and the second they do they turn RINO on us. Heck, McCain didn't even wait for the election to turn RINO.. he started to praise Obama and said Obama would make a great president. Well.. he was wrong.

I have had it with Politicians who just screw us. What has the REPUBLICAN Congress done except screw us? Time to try a business man. I hope it starts a trend.

And here I thought Sowell was taking a pause on his anti-Trump crusade.

There was a time when someone who publicly mocked a handicapped man would have told us all we needed to know about his character, and his political fling would have been over. Lost me right there. He wasn't making fun of a handicapped man. He was making fun of a leftist reporter who denied what he himself had reported. The fact that Sowell repeats this leftist meme shows he's not thinking about the issue.

Today's big puzzle is how so many otherwise rational people have become enamored of Donald TrumpPeople voted for Oboma because he'd be the first black president. It made him a celebrity. His devastating history didn't matter.
Donald Trump had a TV reality show. He, like oboma, is running as a celebrity. His far left wing progressive history doesn't matter any more than obomas did.
People like voting for celebrities. They think maybe someday they could get a thank you card with an autograph.

I have always thought that when Thomas Sowell is ignored and lampooned, we will be turning a ugly corner.

Today's big puzzle is how so many otherwise rational people have become enamored of Donald Trump, projecting onto him virtues and principles that he clearly does not have, and ignoring gross defects that are all too blatant."""".....
Why not? Germany did it in 1932.....the people are/were starved for "THE ONE" who would save them, deja vu.
We also saw that same mentality in 2008 with the "other One".
I want no more part of that "Crowd movement" mentality going down the primrose path.

I love ya Thomas Sowell. But you're still not getting it. This isn't about "virtues". This is about the fact that while you and others have been preaching conservatism from on high, while many brilliant conservatives have been collecting royalty checks from their outstanding books and speaking engagements, we have been getting our asses kicked and spit on day in and day out.
None of you are obviously capable of crushing the media, crushing the establishment, righting this ship. We're going to have to go out and get us somebody that can go after them and destroy them. Please tell me that Trump hasn't beaten the media so badly in just a few months that they aren't cowering like little puppies. Tell me the establishment that once so boldly attacked Trump hasn't begun their surrender (they're really good at surrendering, by the way) and groveling (they're really good at groveling too).
All this time folks like you have hurled insults at folks like me. Generalized theories about me. How could I possibly have strayed? What kind of education do I have? What color is my skin? Am I a man or woman? You just don't get it. We gave them majorities to put a stop to this. They did nothing and you didn't do a good enough job in "motivating" them to get off their duffs and put a stop to this crap.
Rather than analyzing me, I'd prefer you thanked me for all of my past support and apologized for failing me in these most dire of times for our republic. What is your plan for not failing me again? I'm waiting to hear it.
Maybe during this little time out, you all can work on how to fight the REAL enemies here rather than putting out "think pieces" and insulting the "ignorant voters" when they get fed up. "Ignorant voters" like me who are sick and tired of watching folks like you take up the rear with your pens, typewriters, and notebooks while people are the front line are getting mowed down.

I now look at Thomas Sowell in the same way Iâve looked at Andy Griffith ever since he was bulls**ted by Ron Howard into doing a commercial supporting Hussein the monster in his first election run. The memory of Griffith will forever live in shame because of that lapse of judgment. Now Sowell, too, has become a deluded and senile old fool.
