Ted is very smart...just not too bright. You cut deals wherein you win and they lose.

A refusal to cut deals leaves a stalemate wherein there is no progress.

It's worked for Obama. Just undoing his Exec Orders would be serious progress. Let the McConnells and Ryans earn the right to be "dealt" with.

All the Dems have to do is pucker up, flatter Trump a little and he will be putty in their hands. Ask Putin.

You’re not too bright.

Trump would have a majority in the house and senate he wouldn’t need to cut deals with democrats to advance a republican agenda he would only need to cut deals with the republican majority if his objective is to advance the democrat agenda.

That’s not cutting a deal, that’s beating someone. Trump doesn’t want to win, he wants to “cut deals” his words not mine.

Is Cruz saying he wouldn't cut a deal where he got 95% of what he wanted and had to compromise on 5%?

Cruz showed us how successful he was with his ‘Mr. Smith goes to Washington’ imitation. It didn’t accomplish a thing other than to raise Cruz’ profile before a run for President.

Cruz wouldn’t be able to accomplish anything in Congress as President. Most of Congress hates him. They’ll tell him to piss off and he will be impotent.
