You are right. And I have no problem with the candidates beating each other up. Someone said it here, “Politics is a blood sport.” But someone also said, “Obey the 11th Commandment.” This isn’t so much about the candidates as it is about us as FReepers respecting each other.
Respect is earned.

The best thing to do is not engage. I was reading something the other day about how to be a gentleman. One of the things that a gentleman does is simply ignore the vulgar and obscene as both are beneath him, and not worthy of his attention.
