One of the four people arrested by U.S. Marshals following a shooting in Albuquerque has made his first court appearance.
Sir William Shakespeare, 32, had a warrant out for his arrest in connection to a domestic violence incident. He is charged with aggravated assault against a household member.
Marshals arrested Shakespeare and four other people who had warrants for their arrest in a vehicle near Lomas Boulevard and Tennessee Street on Friday.
A fifth suspect, a Colorado fugitive identified as Brandon Ledbetter, shot and killed himself during the incident, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Department.
It would be kind of cool if Cervantes and Shakespeare were in the same cell together. They supposedly died on the same day. Maybe they could speak about their fascination with America.
The other four, Billy “big Mac” Macbeth, Joe Don Hamlet, Vinnie Romeo, and Phil Juliet.
I wondered the same thing.
“I live on in the eyes of all posterity even unto doomsday.”
Whether ‘tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them: to die, to sleep. . . .
