Is my Mom going to endorse Donald Trump for President of the United States?
Thatâs the rumor, and Iâve been too busy with diapers to delve too much into politics these days. But the rumors were enough to cause staffers from Ted Cruzâs office to slam my mom.

We’ll have to wait and see, today was John Wayne’s daughter, Aissa, announcing support for Trump.
Was it my grammar? Did I misspell something? English was my least favorite subject so I if I should be ashamed of what I wrote please let me know, so I don't express logic and philosophy with shameful prose.
Where did I slam Palin? I slammed her stupid lying daughter. I can’t stand Bristol Palin. Is she supposed to be a positive role model for people my age? I don’t think so. Glad to know that you throw your support behind an immoral, salacious, selfish woman-child. Shows where your priorities lie.
Exactly. That’s not a slam. It’s an entirely reasonable comment by a campaign spokesman. It’s tame and respectful.
Yeah, next they will be putting up photoshopped pictures of running mates picking their noses.
I am stopping here.
No reading trumpees crap. Their responses are so predictable and usually trashing someone.
My heart dropped at the idea of Sarah endorsing Trump because I believe her to be conservative. No matter what you say if you are going for the gop form of bambi you are not. You are kidding yourselves on so many levels.
There is nothing conservative about DT.
Take it how you will. I really don’t care. When I first read it this morning, I thought it was a childish and classless response.
I guess, if you’re in the Cruz camp that thinks the behavior of his supporters is A-OK and that he’s somehow ‘brilliant’ for the whole NY values argument, you’d like this too.
I wouldn’t expect there to be any wide appeal beyond those who are already true believers though. In fact, this could well add to the bleeding that is already showing up in the polls.
Personally, I would be happy if either Cruz or Trump is the Republican nominee. To those of us who have been following the contest and would like to see him nominated his feistiness is often seen as a strong point. But a lot of others do not perceive this in the same way. The condescending nasty posts in this thread say a lot more about the posters than the candidates. It is actually to the point of being embarrassing. Hard core Cruz people are coming across as just plain awful and if that is a reflection on Cruz is not going to be helpful to him in the least.
I think it [would] be a blow to Sarah Palin, because Sarah Palin has been a champion for the conservative cause, and if she was going to endorse Donald Trump, sadly, she would be endorsing someone who’s held progressive views all their life on the sanctity of life, on marriage, on partial-birth abortion,”

So this counts as a slam?
Apparently the Palins are as thin skinned as is Mr. Trump.
Everyone on Facebook was chastizing Bristol for posting this crap. And I mean, everyone.

That’s the rumor, and I’ve been too busy with diapers to delve too much into politics these days. But the rumors were enough to cause staffers from Ted Cruz’s office to slam my mom.
“I think it [would] be a blow to Sarah Palin, because Sarah Palin has been a champion for the conservative cause, and if she was going to endorse Donald Trump, sadly, she would be endorsing someone who’s held progressive views all their life on the sanctity of life, on marriage, on partial-birth abortion,” Cruz campaign spokesman Rick Tyler said on CNN’s “New Day.”
I like Cruz. In fact, I met him last year, and I believe anyone’s better than Hilary Clinton. But here’s the thing, Sen. Cruz. My mom has consistently supported you and encouraged you. You’ve been a great advocate for conservative causes, and she’s stood by you when others haven’t.
“I would not be in the U.S. Senate today if it were not for Governor Palin,” you’ve said before.
After hearing what Cruz is now saying about my mom, in a negative knee-jerk reaction, makes me hope my mom does endorse Trump. Cruz’s flip-flop, turning against my mom who’s done nothing but support and help him when others sure didn’t, shows he’s a typical politician. How rude to that he’s setting up a false narrative about her!
America doesn’t need that. We need someone who has a vision for economic prosperity, who won’t let us get kicked around in the world, and who will fight for our future.
I didn’t go to Harvard Law School, but I know this: You can like two people in a race, but there will only one president.
The audacity to suggest that because she chooses one over the other will somehow “damage” her just shows arrogance.
You’ve also said, “She can pick winners!” I hope you’re right, and that she endorses Donald Trump today for President.
To be honest, I've yet to see any direct quote from Senator Cruz about this tempest in a teapot so it's quite possible Bristol is jumping the gun.
No, she posted this on my Facebook page.
I’ve known for a while that Sarah was gonna come out for Trump because Bristol has been hinting at it for a couple of weeks now.
I like her cute little ‘too busy with diapers’ line.
It’s amazing. For some they claim Cruz appeal is his Christianity but they spew profanity hate and bile.
Apparently Black Dog’s post wasn’t that well-played because it has been removed.
Cruz saying that about Sarah was another “youth and inexperience” moment.
Sorry, but you make no sense.
Sarah Palin not only endorsed Ted for Senate but she came to Texas and campaigned for him.
Ted Cruz not only thanked and appreciated it but he said, “I would not be in the Senate if it were not for Sarah Palin.”
That isn’t enough thanks and praise for you people?
I swore I wouldn’t turn on Sarah but I am wondering what Trump promised her. There has to be something going on or why would she abandon conservatism to support this phony.
I agree. All the words appear to be spelled correctly.
You missed the insane cult fever that has taken over the Trump people.
Trump is he who is not to be spoken ill of.
Respectfully disagreeing is obviously more than many FReepers can handle right now. The poison of ends justify the means thinking is taking its toll.
