I got so excited about Pluto last summer, I completely forgot about checking in on the Curiosity site. I need to check back there again for other images that have been posted the past several months.

Horizontally compressed, the explanation says. Why couldn't they just uncompress it here? By the looks of the rover, it could be as much as 5x, which would actually make it look like this:
Just a guess, though.
