I like Cruz too. There are lots of people here that like Cruz and hate Trump because he isn’t a perfect conservative. Trump isn’t perfect but his main issues are very conservative..border, jobs trade, 2nd amendment, muslims. He is even more conservative than Cruz on immigration and taxes (VAT taxes that Cruz supports are not conservative)
Cruz may be the most conservative but that won’t matter if he can’t move the football.
As recently as August, he was calling for "giving illegals a path". he supports touchback. He's not as conservative as Cruz on immigration.
