I heard the apology, but I was sort of busy at the time, so I couldn’t focus in on it entirely.

But I have heard others characterize it as a non-apology apology or even doubling down on what he said originally, so I really don’t know what to say about that.

I’ll say this, if I was Ted Cruz, I would apologize. Not in a round about or clever way, but directly.

I realize that Donald Trump doesn’t apologize, and that works for him, but I don’t think it’s going to work for Ted.

In my post up thread, I described how I thought that what he said does in fact impugn the people that were in 9/11, and despite the fact that many of them are no doubt liberals and vote in such a way that would make me displeased, I wouldn’t want to besmirch them. Not in a blanket sort of way as was done. Just don’t want to do that.
