So? In NH, natives pay snow, no mind. Nothing new here. Life goes on, without skipping a beat. Obviously this author, is a flatlander. Probably used to when a dusting of snow closes down their city. Clueless.

I think you are being too harsh. This is still a story, despite the fact that NHers are used to snow.

I spent four hellish winters in glorious N.H. ( one year, we had a blizzard on Columbus Day! ), when I was in college. LOL
