To: Little Bill

I did it hoping to confirm old family lore that there was a Native American in the family tree. Nary a trace. Seems we are purely white stock, principally English with a mix you’d expect from English history (Irish, Scot, Scandinavian, North Western European).

Take a look at Native American DNA in North Eastern America and Canada a lot of R1B and II among the tribes, us evil oppressors were on the horny side but not that horny.

Same situation for me. But such outcomes don’t necessarily mean our family legends are false, because after six or seven generations, the Indian DNA sometimes will be so diluted that it simply can’t be detected by today’s technology.
