Cool, I met a cousin on FR! That's right. I have an old genealogy. But my genealogy program I started two computers ago with Parsons. The .fow file it generated could be read by Rootsmagic, so I upgraded to that.

Now they are all on my PC which has suffered a soft or hard crash and can't lift the tower any more to get it somewhere to rescue those files.

I do have an older GEDCOM but I had added a lot more and need to rescue them. The computer people I trusted and were close left. If it is still possible, I would like to buy a device that will slave that hd to my present computer.

Anyway, I am very honored to make your acquaintance. What is your line? I used to help Arthur Osgood in FL with any good Osgood information I found even though not my line. Arthur, was the one who told me about the Osgood book and helped me but have been out of touch with him for years.
