It depends on the Lawyer and Politician.
If they are honorable and conservative, it's a great endorsement.
Say Reagan ( a two-term CA Governor and therefore a politician) was alive today would have endorsed Cruz, would you have still employed that blanket rule or is this simply a rule applied because you are backing Trump?

I just called his office to let him know that I am disappointed and angry that he has come out for Cruz. He will not have my vote in any future elections.
