My wife and I were discussing the traditional business models of year to year, five year, and ten year plans for corporations. That has kind of fallen out of favor for a more reactive style of leadership at the top, mostly ruled by quarter to quarter results. This is no way to run corporations.
It's certainly no way to govern, which has been the trend since Mr. "Read My Lips" held office. It's gotten steadily worse ever since. Government leadership does not govern. They merely react to their own chaos in a paranoid vindictive circular firing squad fashion.
We used to have CIA / NSA / and financial analysts with five and ten year plans in dealing with our enemies and allies. Now we have analysts who are punished if their views fall outside those of Marie Harf's stated hourly hope and change pressers praising the amorphous views of of her boss.
Now you know what all those Gitmo detainees to be released are for. The palace Guard.
