Be careful . . . Unless you work and live side by side with them, you are only "projecting" your own self belief and perceptions upon the whole as being the truth of the matter. Inconceivable to many and obviously to yourself that most (if not all) of the muslim community and women actually desire sharia law.
Sharia law is not only about subjugation. There are much economic and social rules that make perfect sense (socially and economically) to those who practice Islam. The problem is a muslim like a true Christian is not to cherry pick what they like or do not like. You have to take the whole belief system to be a true believer
