No the question is not whether they(manufactured goods) can be made at a profit in the USA. Your supposition is specious. Everything we consume can be made it the USA for a profit, and was so up to about 1985. The question is whether we can keep the international cabal of stockholders happy at healthy profit using US labor as opposed to an obscene profit using suicidal coolie labor.
