“offshoring” the so-called industrial base - I will grant solely for the sake of inanity that this is true - makes perfect sense if it’s the more efficient use of scarce resources - capital, labor, and time.
It’s called Econ 101, but then I won’t assume you’ve ever taken anything even approximating it.
