The Right Scoop ^ | 1/6/2016 | Right Scoop

Mark Levin weighed in last night on his radio show about the comments made by Donald Trump regarding Ted Cruz's eligibility to be president. In short, Levin said there is no issue there because he has already looked into it and that Trump needs to focus on substantive issues and stay away from these types of attacks.

Rush is saying the same thing now. Attributes Trump’s remarks to his being behind in Iowa. Rush also talks about Trumps earlier remarks that Cruz is eligible.

I think it’s brilliant that Trump and Levin are getting the issue out there NOW, before the primaries.

We all know the MSM and the dems (but I repeat myself) will use the issue of Cruz’s citizenship in their attempts to steal the election by any means possible.

Yup, let's leave it up to the democrats to sue Cruz, find a sympathetic judge and make Cruz's ineligibility the "law of the land". Heck Republicans never fight anything. Do you think they're going to lift a finger to help Cruz? Or do you think it's more likely they'll help the dems get rid of Cruz?

Mark Levin needs to learn how to actually read an article.

Levin can be a bit rigid and tone deaf at times.

Primaries are a training ground for the general campaign. If a candidate can’t take the heat now, among intra-party competition, they are not prepared to face the same issues raised by enemies.

Fine for cruz to laugh it off. He should also be providing a full and legal explanation, if he wants to put it to bed. Trump would, if the roles were reversed. He’d do it in readable english too.

The Constitution does not define natural born citizen, but some of the same men who wrote the Constitution also wrote the Naturalization Act of 1790 which defines it this way:

The Act also establishes the United States citizenship of certain children of citizens, born abroad, without the need for naturalization: "the children of citizens of the United States that may be born beyond Sea, or out of the limits of the United States, shall be considered as natural born Citizens".

Mark Levin you are full of crap. Trump is not questioning Cruz citizenship. He did have a responsibility to, in an abstract way, let these people that are asking him that he has no answer.

It is a nonissue. If it were I don’t think he would be on the primary ballots.
John McCain faced the question. So did Barry Goldwater, George Romney, and Chester A. Arthur.

Rush is right on this one - “Have at it boys!”

It’s obvious Trump is concern trolling here, and Rush was having a laugh about it.

I suggest Levin do the same before he has a heart attack.

Trump is feeding the left because he see’s Iowa slipping away, and that CA poll showing Cruz beating him there...painfully obvious Trump is feeling the pressure and resorting to this.
