Cruz is not Catholic. Cruz has been a Southern Baptist since he was 8 years old. I met and spoke with the pastor who prayed with 8 year old Ted and who also baptized him. The pastor, who is retired now, lives in Tennessee.
I agree. I don’t believe that Cruz is Catholic. I was just objecting to the idea that Catholicism wasn’t a form of the same “faith” as Protestantism: Christianity.
IMO, Cruz leans more towards being a Dominionist vs being a Catholic. I think Trump brought Cuba up in the context of believing some folks (in Iowa) really do not like Catholics.
I think is was background noise and no one is paying attention to that bs at all. I agree the media want some sort of feud between Trump and Cruz to drum up ratings.
