Notwithstanding Red State’s article, Trump is not that worried about the outcome in Iowa. Sure, he’d like to win Iowa, and the polls indicate it is basically head to head w/ Cruz, but from then on, in almost, if not all, the upcoming states, he has a commanding lead. Notice Trump has pivoted to campaigning against Hillary Clinton, unlike Cruz, Rubio, Bush and Kasich who are all taking shots at each other. Sure, if someone gets close or shows movement, he’ll take that on, but his strategy is clear...he is in the driver’s seat and focusing on the general. It’s his to lose at this point, and the fact that Cruz hasn’t taken shots (serious shots, not veiled ones) shows he has his eyes on Trump’s VP, which would be an unbeatable combo.

He will need Cruz to keep him from making a total MESS of it. I’m not sure it is in Cruz’s best interest to go there, but one thing a Trump Presidency will assure....there will NOT be another Republican President for decades.

.
Trump is very worried about Iowa.

It is going to prove him to be a tissue paper candidate.
