I don’t know if I agree so much with the hyperbole, but Trump is desperate to find something to attack Cruz with.

We have video of Cruz advocating for a wall in 2011, but Trump still trots out the lie that Cruz is copying him.

I wrote down every issue that Trump raised when he announced and every single one of them were the positions that Cruz laid out in his own announcement speech, months earlier. All that Trump left out was Protecting Religious Liberty and Abolishing the IRS.

I’ve made my distaste for Mr. Trump very clear so I’m sure my thoughts will be written off by the Trumpistas; however, I do feel he’s making a huge gamble by announcing his push in Iowa. If he ends up losing after such a proclamation (which it’s looking he likely will) - even in a close one - he’s created a pretty bad narrative for himself as a candidate with no clothes that could allow another candidate to fill the vacuum.

His better play would have been to parrot Romney in ‘12 and downplay any formal strategy, then hope for a strong second place finish to push him into NH.

I could be wrong, of course - Lord knows I’ve been in the past - but I guess we’ll see.

Ted changed his position on increasing H1Bs recently. Donald’s position was out last Summer.

Donald’s positions are original. Donald was also the first among many things that resonate with voters, for example, the War on Christmas.

This isn’t about who was first to do whatever or who changed to what’s popular. This is about a general appeal and effectiveness at getting a message out. Donald wins in that context.

One can make a list at where Ted was ‘first to do whatever’ and show that it is longer that Donald’s originals. But it doesn’t matter because it’s not so much the message as it is the messenger. People are choosing Donald to be their messenger. That’s the will of the people. No list can change that.

Why don’t you write down all the issues Trump was talking about 25 years ago regarding America’s nose dive economically, etc. ?
As far as Trump’s statement about not too many evangelicals coming out of cubs is concerned. He is factually correct.

This entire article is written like a kindergarten big bad wolf fairy tale. ADULTS should put their brains back in gear.
