Musk wouldn’t be anywhere without the tax dollars that was handed over to him. Give anyone billions and they could create something. By the way how many Teslas have been sold to the masses?

People can criticize Musk for a lot, including Tesla's and Solar City's business models. I do. But to say that he wouldn't be anywhere without tax dollars is not true. He was already a billionare from starting PayPal before he started Spacex.
Musk gets tax CREDITS. That doesn’t “cost” taxpayers a dime, it reduces taxes - a core conservative principle. (Yes, it’s not “across the board” tax cuts, but under current circumstances that’s the best we can do.) Like the popular mortgage interest tax credit, use it as an example of how beneficial lower taxes are to innovation and productivity.
The government isn’t writing Musk big check with your money.
