For as long as the sport of football has been around, black quarterbacks have faced harsher criticism and have been handed shorter leashes than their white peers -- a clear double standard that continues to plague the sport.
If you don't believe us, just look at how the fans and media have treated two of the league's top quarterbacks this season: The Carolina Panthers' Cam Newton and the New England Patriots' Tom Brady. Twitter user @IAmSpilly perfectly encapsulated their differing situations in a single tweet.

Huff Post fails to recognize that in sports, status of the team’s city and owner has a lot to do with how the media covers team members. Boston, Seattle, Frisco, NY are top tier. Indianapolis, Denver are almost top tier. Houston and smaller towns in the South are bottom tier.

So I’m supposed to believe Cam dancing in the end zone has anything to do with Donald Trump???
I’ll say this Cam Newton is Phenomenal quarterback. A better comparison would have been no outrage for Brady knocking up his wife pre marriage.
This article is just an excuse to keep repeating that Trump is a racist.
Obviously in a free society Brady should not be attacked on moral grounds for liking a republican.

Never heard of that Williams guy! I’m a big fan of Russell Wilson though. I dread the day when/if something bad comes out about him. He seems like a good guy. He used to run laps at my kid’s High School, sometimes during school hours. The principal asked him one day not to come as it was too much of a distraction!
“Okay kids - don’t pay any attention to that guy that works out everyday and keeps his body in tip-top shape. We have gym class to focus on!”
Newton sucks as much this year as he did every other year at Carolina. He just as a better supporting cast this year.
Fortunately, I enjoy watching 1-2 games a week during the season but don't require it - also don't require any special outcome to make or break my day. Being a true FANatic must be painful to many and I have enough life to keep me occupied w/o adding that pile of peas to my plate....

We need to ensure we don't get another Obama-like America Hater as the next President.
The best way to ensure that is to actively support a candidate as the next President.
I prefer Cruz and my money goes to his campaign, hence the Cruz link. If you like someone else, donate to him/her (find your own link to do it) and if you use FR and don't donate, then please don't complain about the welfare leeches or those who have Obama Phones because, functionally, you are no different than any other who enjoys the fruits of others' work for your own benefit.

Yikes! Did I say Williams??? Russell Williams is a guy I just learned about recently and have been researching a bit.He was a top Canadian Air Force officer who was convicted of numerous house break-ins and thefts,several rapes and two murders,including a woman under his command.
As much as I dislike Russell Wilson (Go,Pats!) I know he's never murdered anyone.
That article demonstrates that someone is willing to go to great lengths to call Trump a racist, and that is all....
