Talented lady just like her dad. RIP.

I have CDR burns direct from the studio master tapes of both Nat’s and Natalie’s “duet” of “Unforgetable”...and many, many of Nat’s hits that include studio chatter and before the dreaded “reverb” was added for the commercial release.
Not surprising, Nat’s original master tapes have a MUCH higher sound quality - quite extraordinary and lifelike.
Natalie’s album tribute to her father is a classic album and darn close to a masterpiece.
Natalie had a drug problem abuse that eventually caught up to her...hope she’s at peace now.

Aww, so sad!
Too young.
She was good.
I finally picked up the “Unforgettable” tape (yes) sans case last year at an estate sale! Never did buy it even when it was fresh.
I also remember working out to “Pink Cadillac” in the college gym! LOL

Wait... Your mother’s favorite song was an ode to a hitman? I also associate Mack the Knife more to Sinatra than Nat King Cole.
To: massmike
Crap. She had some great songs back in the 80s.
At least she made it to the new year.
To: massmike
"Star Dust" is a good example of Nat's talent.
all you have to do is listen to the opening segment.....says it all.

I thought it was Bobby Darin who sang “Mack The Knife.”

Drug abuse. Hepatitus C.
That explains a great deal.

Someone very big usually dies on NYE or New Year’s Day.

Natalie, RIP. Both you and your dad were wonderful artists.
And the third, not a celebrity as Natalie, but don’t forget

RIP. She will also join her little brother who was my friend in middle school, Kelly. He died of AIDS in his 30s.
