Justice Scalia only addressed trigger locks in specific because that was the only storage method under consideration in Heller, however, he states explicitly that the trigger lock requirement is unconstitutional because it prevents the firearm being IMMEDIATELY available for it's constitutionally-enumerated purpose. And that principle renders ALL mandatory firearm storage laws UNCONSTITUTIONAL.
