I was listening to Mark Steyn filling in for Rush Limbaugh when he mentioned that Erick Erickson would be the fillin host tomorrow. Erickson is the guy who disinvited Donald Trump from the Red State Gathering and invited Megyn Kelly to speak in his place. Rumor had it that he was prodded by Fox News contributor Kirsten Powers, who ironically wrote a book on how the left's intolerance towards opposing views is shutting down debate.
Hint:
Not everybody who doesn’t like Trump is a RINO.

Erickson sucks but I still can't find any definition for that apparently made-up word.

Well if you want a vacation, you do what you have to, to make sure it happens. I mean what did you want him to do? Stay home? i am sure he contacted quite a few who were unavailable. Many are on vacation this week. He can’t have a repeat due to his contract so he is stuck with whatever he can do. No big deal anyway. I doubt many are listening this week anyway with everything going on in their lives.
I used to listen to Erick's show on WSB radio every day, just like I use to watch Megyn Kelly on Fox. Both of them pulled stunts that Debbie Wasserman Shultz would be proud of and I have shut both of them out ever since. Both of them are also proud of their actions so enjoy the show if you want but I won't.
Hey I am not a fan of Trump or Erickson but I still like and admire Limbaugh for fighting the conservative fight for decades.
I saw on Twitter someone talking about Hannity's fill-in and said he was horrible (don't know who that is).
As for Erickson, it was knee jerk stupidity, and I won't reward him by listening.
Just don’t listen tomorrow.

Actually I read about that here on FR. Since I didn't see it anywhere else (I also didn't spend much time looking) but I give FR's posters credit for knowing more than I do I left it at that. You want to verify it knock yourself out.

I heard that too and just thought how I won’t be listening. Erikson is a douche and if Rush doesn’t care about his show, neither do I.
Honestly, I’ve kinda felt like Rush has been phoning it in for a while.
No idea what sort of contracts he has with his guests.
Steyn is the only one worth listening to these days, I miss Walter Washington, Thomas Sowell, and especially Tony Snow.

Ditto here. Don’t like his voice on the air; sounds like a fat guy, and that was before I saw his picture.
He lost me the day he made his Donald McCain comment.
Yes he did backtrack an hour later but that just compounds my disgust.
