Raining hard here in Denton.
Hearing about a lot of areas with high winds and tornados...
Flash flood warnings until Monday.
We had light drizzle a couple of times on the golf course this morning, near Houston. All OK so far, but it is supposed to get much cooler for the next 8 or 10 days.
Just east of Amarillo. Blowing like hell, wind chill is 16.
A bump in the road for us. Hopefully!
Northeast Tarrant county.
all the trouble was east of me.
a cold front just moved thru here.
Here in Garland the sirens have gone off 3 times. A large tornado hit Rowlett just east of here and caused a lot of damage. The Rowlett emergency services people are calling for “all the help we can get”.
Wind chill in MN isn’t even 16!
We are the butt of a lot of jokes here, in the winter time. We had a brown Christmas with temps in the 30’s.
An inch of snow here today. That’s it.

Ice headed towards Amarillo, El Paso has snow and Dallas has Tornados. If only we had elected Algore, none of this would have happened.

Rowlett was one of the areas that I heard was hard hit.
East Colin County is still under tornado watch, its moving NE towards Blue Ridge. Also, heard Rowlett has “homes leveled” from tornado. No more info at the moment.
Central Texas in and around Austin and Georgetown have had heavy rains off and on and some light hail. There have been wind bursts but everything is fine so far. Late tonight there are supposed to be more heavy rains and hail with the possibility of tornado action. Then the cold comes in. Happy New Year and God Bless.

the tornado possibly tornadoes are NE of Dallas, hitting some suburban areas...
not good...large houses down, injuries at least.
Ovilla is another area where I am seeing reports of heavy damage.

Next cities in the path are Trenton and Orangeville. Both WAAY NE of Dallas/Collin county towards Fanin County.

Yes, Rowlett was hit bad. According to Twitter DFW Scanner feed, the same tornado that hit Rowlett is still on the ground in Blue Ridge.
