Does that include nail polish?
By including permanent scarring in the same sentence with “print any marks”, I conclude that this means permanent tattooing.
Government schooling is **not** politically, culturally, or religiously neutral. No school can be. Such a state of philosophic neutrality can not exist in the mind of any sentient human.
Even if this child did not get a henna tattoo she was in an environment where other children were getting them. She is still at risk of becoming comfortable with tattooing and comfortable with the practice of a culture that does not conform with her parent's political, cultural, and religious worldview.
It is impossible for any government school to resolve this conflict of worldviews.
Solution: Begin the process of privatizing all schooling in this nation.
There are many religions, some Christian sects and non-Christian religions, who proscribe its use. And...It is rare to see men in our nation wearing nail polish because it is an American cultural taboo.
So?...What happens when a small child ( some so young they are barely out of diapers) is forced by the government into an environment where others are sporting very pretty painted nails? And, it is even worn by a small minority of boys.
It is emotionally cruel for the government to tempt a child in this way. It is emotional child abuse to undermine a child's confidence in his family's values.
Nail Polish is not religiously, culturally, or politically neutral. Even simple nail polish is not neutral!
Solution: Begin the process of getting government out of education.
