Lived in SE Mass at that time. Town had to dump snow into the harbor to get rid of it. We had mini icebergs floating down the beaches till June.

Climate change (as the media/leftist scum defines it) has nothing to do with the current warmth. The current warmth in the east is from a strong El Nino - a totally natural occurrence.

Renowned climatologist Bette Midler holds a differing opinion.

I live in Fairport
I'm in Greece, just a few miles south of the lake. Even in "good" winters, we still get hammered.

Just saw the forecast for west Texas next week. Horrible cold. Gonna be a tough new year. We do not handle 15 F in the morning too well.

It's 85 degrees in north central Florida today and forecast to be in the mid-80s everyday until New Years Eve when it will plunge to a frigid 74 degrees. A missionary worker from here just arrived in S. Fl. to do outreach there. He is enjoying it

Weâre in Washington state right now and it has rained 23 days straight. Wow. Sounds like Great Britain, where i think 60's and overcast can be a beach day!

Yep - here in northern Idaho I’m looking at two feet of snow on my deck. We got about six inches of “flurries” today. No worries about a white Christmas. Worries about cannibalism, maybe. Have a Merry Christmas!

Sheesh, we have 9” of snow on the ground here in Eastern Washington State. Just another typical winter here.

Every time I see the term “White Privilege” I think “White Competency” and it makes a lot more sense. Envy is a big thing.

Because your comment was about some missionary worker going from "here" to S. Fl. and enjoying it.
It helps to know where that "here" is to put your statement in context. Duh.

“I live in Rochester NY where the last two winters have been BRUTAL.”
I was thinking of you New Yorkers and the BEAT DOWN you’ve taken two years running...
...and how you all must be dancing in the streets this winter, so far! :)
We had 120+ inches of snow one year, then the next, less snow but WEEKS ON END of sub-zero temps. First time in 25+ years here on The Frozen Tundra that I had pipes freeze up.
I am LOVING this warm-so-far Winter!

Yes, even if weather in Jan-Feb reverts to normal, I'm still grateful for the globull warming thus far.
How the looney Libs can think this is bad is pathetic.

Are they going to ask if climate change is to blame when the next cold front hits us?
