Obama STILL claims that his precious Syrian "refugees" are harmless, but it has just been revealed that they can do more damage than we ever imagined.
Leishmaniasis is a flesh-eating parasite spread by sandflies, and it can often be fatal. According to Conservative Tribune, two forms of this disease are extremely common among Syrian refugees.
Lucky Muslim refugees will contract cutaneous leishmaniasis, which produces volcano-like ulcers that develop weeks or months after being bitten by an infected sandfly. However, unlucky refugees will contract visceral leishmaniasis, which does not have the volcano ulcers. Instead, this version of the disease attacks your internal organs, typically your spleen and liver, as well as your bone marrow.
The CDC reported that "migration patterns of refugees with cutaneous leishmanias were identified in Lebanon" in 2012. By then, 52,982 cases of the disease were reported in Syria.
"Fifty-nine percent of patients had more than one of the following: disease compromising the function of vital sensory organs (eye, ear, nose, and mouth) (27%); lesions of greater than 5 cm in diameter (49%); disfiguring facial lesions (37%); special forms, such as sporotrichoid or lymphangietic with satellite lesions (9%); and lesions present for more than 12 months' duration," a CDC report on a 2012 outbreak in Syria read.
Lebanon wasn't the only country affected by leishmaniasis. Dr. Philip R. Fischer, Professor of Pediatrics at the Mayo Clinic, revealed recently that Turkey was also affected.
"As Syrians leave their homeland, they sometimes carry their germs with them. There have been dramatic increases in the number of cases of cutaneous leishmaniasis in southeastern Turkey. In Turkey, 69% of cutaneous leishmaniasis patients are Syrians living in tent cities," Fischer explained.
The most terrifying part about this is that an infected refugee may show no symptoms for weeks or months, meaning screeners could easily let them into our country without realizing what they have done.
