"There have been a lot of comments that Cruz was not liked in the Senate."

True. It's not "was" though, he still isn't.

But being liked by Congress is not exactly a feather in the cap this election cycle. Yes, they will have to work together at some point. Trump can do that. He can also fill a stadium at the drop of a hat, if Trump needs the help to force Congress's hand, he'll get it.

“The latest sign came from Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.), who warned his colleagues against the dangers of a power-hungry executive branch on Thursday “

He worries about Trump, after the Republican Senate just caved in to Emperor Obama for the 2,318th time.

“Imagine President Trump has been propelled into the White House with 300 electoral votes having won by his personality and his promise to get things done by acting unilaterally,” he said. “He signs an order that turns the Peace Corps into stonemasons to build the southern wall.”

Ummm..okay. And that would be a bad thing?

The Meg Whitmans and Carly Fiorinas didn’t win either. The Rand Pauls, Joni Ernst, David Bratts and Ted Cruz candidates did.

It didn’t help Christine O’Donnell and Sharon Angle et al that they were openly abandoned.

Ironically, McConnell is the most hated Senator of all among the voters.

...having won by his personality and his promise to get things done by acting unilaterally,”...

More straw man rhetoric.

Trump supporters aren't hoping for some dictatorial despot.

They ARE looking for someone that has the balls to give out a loudmouth Senator's cell number when he insults their intelligence, instead of being "congenital" to ideological enemies.

You have my sympathy. Collins is a Democrat and most always on the wrong side of every issue.

Maine is a beautiful state though. I especially like Bar Harbor and Booth Bay.

NO...he turns the Peace Corps into supervisors of illegal immigrants (supplied by Sheriff Apagio) that will build the wall....prior to departing on the other side after having served their sentence for breaking various federal laws.

Trump is the ONLY candidate on either side that will have coattails big enough to carry candidates who would othwise lose close races. These people are idiots.

Criminals don’t love cops either. Same concept.

Trump is going to ruin their corruption machine.

My family has been Republican since Lincoln. But I swear, if Trump wins the nomination fair and square, and the Republican leadership doesn’t pull out all the stops to get him elected, I will never vote Republican again, and that’s from dog catcher on up. It’s just one measly vote, but I am confdent there will be plenty of others like me.

There have been a lot of comments that Cruz was not liked in the Senate. It appears to be a common “problem” for the two frontrunners.

I consider that a huge plus for both.
