I imagine a whole lot don’t like him. They are going to lose their jobs, their cushy income from special interests and those left will be expected to actually work.

Reporter: "So, Senator Quisling, will you support Donald Trump if he becomes the nominee of your Party?"
Senator: "He's not going to be the nominiee."[tries to walk away]
Reporter: [chases Senator]"You didn't answer my question, sir! If he becomes the nominee, will you support him?"
Senator: [arrives at Senate elevator, yells at elevator technician to close the doors] "He's not going to be the nominee."
Reporter: "Senator? Senator? If not Trump, who will be the nominee? [doors close]

Patriots need to fire as many senators as they can in the next election and replace them with state sovereignty-respecting lawmakers that will work within the framework of the Constitution to support Trump, or whatever conservative they elect.
Likewise for the House.
An added bonus to such a Congress is that it will probably be more willing to fire state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices.

I live in Maine and I can’t stand or stomach Susan Collins.
In 2014, I wrote in the name of a local Republican who I know personally when Collins ran for re-election to yet another term. (She lied years ago when she said she would run for only one term. I think this is her fourth term).
I swore after I voted for Romney in 2012 that I would never vote again for a damned RINO.
Donald Trump pisses off all the right people.

Who could support those who want McConnell as their “leader”?

I just let Heller know again on FB. I’ll vote against him in his next election, even if it means voting Democrat. He’s been in lockstep with Harry since he got there so it won’t make any difference if I do vote Dem.

A**hole, he’s more worried about Trump than the dictator in the White House the last 7+ years.

And the problem with that is?

What GOP senators dislike about Trump fuels his support. I think Cruz understands that and will harness it.

The senate should return to it's former self, with each governor of each state appointing their US Senate representatives.
You know..........Like a state's rights concept?

He signs an order that turns the Peace Corps into stonemasons to build the southern wall For once they would be doing something useful, instead of either spreading Marxist political ideas across the planet or absorbing them and returning home to spout them.
Gee, Ben...didn't ya run as a "consoivative"?

McConnell suggesting that the Republicans nominate only candidates that have a chance of winning. Who is he kidding?
McCain? Romney? OMG they could not even defeat Obama.
I will never understand the GOPe’s love of Romney. He won one statewide race and that was it.
To: conservativejoy
The latest sign came from Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.), who warned his colleagues against the dangers of a power-hungry executive branch on Thursday by invoking a hypothetical Trump administration. "Imagine President Trump has been propelled into the White House with 300 electoral votes having won by his personality and his promise to get things done by acting unilaterally," he said. "He signs an order that turns the Peace Corps into stonemasons to build the southern wall."
This is pretty bazaar since the republican senators have been kissing Obama's ASS the last 6 yrs!!!
