Three committees in the House of Representatives announced Friday that they were launching concurrent investigations into allegations that President Barack Obama deliberately manipulated intelligence reports from Syria and Iraq, allowing the Islamic State group to thrive.
According to the Washington Examiner, Republican Reps. Ken Calvert of California, Mike Pompeo of Kansas and Brad Wenstrup of Ohio will lead the investigations for the Armed Services Committee, Intelligence Committee and the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee, respectively.
"In addition to looking into the specific allegations, the Joint Task Force will examine whether these allegations reflect systemic problems across the intelligence enterprise in CENTCOM or any other pertinent intelligence organizations," read a joint statement from Armed Services Committee Chairman Mac Thornberry, R-Texas, Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., and Defense Appropriations Subcommittee Chairman Rodney Freylinghuysen, R-N.J.
There is no such thing as an ‘impeachment trial’. There is ‘impeachment’ and there is ‘trial’. The impeach proceedings occur in the House, the trial occurs in the Senate.
Congress could have him, if they collectively wanted, impeached and convicted by the weekend. But the democrats will not allow it.
However, if there is real evidence, and if it is articulated well (2 big ifs), then democrats can feel the heat and fold. But that is unlikely.
There is no power of the purse because Boehner gave it away.
There is no way to stop Obama at this point except by revolt and insurrection if things get bad enough.

It’s past time for BO’s enablers to be threatened with jail time, starting with V. Jarrett. I’m still mad that Lois Lerner got off after she pleaded the 5th.
Unless they’re also investigating McCain and his “vetted” “moderate” rebels, then this is all meaningless politics

Remember all those identical white Toyota four wheel drive trucks the ISIS were caravaning across the desert in nice long and vulnerable convoys to wage Jihad in Northern Iraq and Syria.

Well, turns out the CIA publicly disclosed that they made large bulk purchases of White Toyota four wheel drive trucks and had them delivered to the Middle East
This bit of information rated one tiny story in the media score it went down the memory hole. Even then , the reporter could not bring himself to admit they were trucks so he called them Toyota four wheel drive jeeps
