It would be ok if Trump responded by saying Cruz lacks judgement to be President, to put the finger on the button. But instead, Trump said Cruz is a “bit of a maniac”. I WAS starting to like Trump more than Cruz, do to his comments on temporarily halting islamic immigration. But now, I’m solidly back in the Cruz corner.

He said Cruz is a bit of a maniac on the Senate floor referring to the shows Cruz puts on about fighting for the right. Cruz is a politician, more conservative than most but a politician. He grandstands on the Senate floor yet is pro-amnesty.

Has repeatedly stated he does not want to send them back, path to citizenship, wants to bring in exponentially more green cards, H1b visas, and wants no per-country limit on applicants from countries like Mexico, China and India

Cruz dodges questions on this repeatedly yet no one calls him on it. Also lots of excuses for TPA cloture vote but again for cloture then show vote. Cruz knew going in that this was fast track for a tyrant yet voted for cloture, supported it publicly in the beginning which gave it support.

I like Cruz and he’s the best next to Trump but these are not minor issues. And Trump’s right, Cruz does the grandstanding thing to gain right-wing support but it’s hollow except what it does to his reputation..

Trump came out day #1, going to seal the border and send them back. Has never backed down. He wants to stop refugee program, restrict Muslim immigration, renegotiate all Congress’s payoff trade deals, and he is over-the-top pro-2nd Amendment.

Don’t let the press make your mind up with their snippet reporting. Look at what these people stand for, not just what their saying.
