I’ve been one of Beck’s few defenders here. But stuff like this annoys me.
Instead of comparing Trump to Hitler, he might notice that Caliphate is almost directly comparable to Nazism and Hitler.
Wanting to defend yourself from the Caliphate is not Nazism. Wanting to keep the Nazis out of your country is not Nazism.
I, too, am irritated by Glenn’s comments regarding Hitler and Trump. However, I must say in Glenn’s defense that, all this week, he has been in Iraq and Europe, attempting to rescue Christians from ISIS and finding them new homes. With the money he raised with the Nazareth Project, he managed to get 100s of Christians out of Iraq and to Slovakia, where they can make a new life for themselves. I have yet to see our government or ANY of our candidates even try to help these people. So, I give Glenn kudos for this, regardless of any inane comment he makes.
That's the one liner right there.
“Iâve been one of Beckâs few defenders here. But stuff like this annoys me.”
I subscribed to his show for a while. I stopped simply because I have so many other ways to spend my time. I like Glenn. He thinks for himself. While he is not always right, he is right far more often than, for example, Barack Hussein Obama.
The YouTube video clip is not all that bad in itself, IMO, though I can see that it could be an intro to some hard-core Trump-bashing.
Well said... you know, I bet you could search and find instances of every president since FDR portrayed as Hitler... democrat or republican... it says more about the person slinging it than the person at which they sling it. It’s shorthand for “I hate you.” It’s the unwillingness to give someone else any room to stand apart from you.
